We are sad to announce that on July 22, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Bonnie L. Hummel of Champaign, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert Bernards and Helen Bernards; and her brothers, Marwin "Marv" Bernards and Wallace "Gunnar" Bernards. She is survived by: her husband John P. Hummel; her sister Dona Kornbaum of Brookings, SD; her children, Glenn Hummel (Linda) of Valparaiso, IN, Paul Hummel (Carla) of Las Vegas, NV, Thomas Hummel (Shelly Reiten) of Savoy, IL and Mary Bahnfleth (William) of State College, PA.; her grandchildren, Patrick Hummel, Christina Hummel (Jeff Fardink), Robbie Hummel, Dan Hummel, Charlotte Bahnfleth (Nate Stevens), Anna Bahnfleth (Ryan Blake) and Emma Hummel; and her great grandchild Emmett Fardink.

Memorials may be directed to Grace Lutheran Church, 313 S Prospect Ave., Champaign, IL 61820; Camp Knutson, 11148 Manhattan Point Blvd, Crosslake, MN 56442; or the charity of one's choice.
