It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Beverly J. Cottrell of Champaign, Illinois, who passed away on October 20, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Beverly leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Beverly may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hurshal C. Tummelson and Edna E. Tummelson; and her brothers, Hurshal C. Tummelson Jr. and Burford Tummelson. She is survived by: her children, Sarah L. Hartman (Jeffrey) and James D. Cottrell; and her husband James D. Cottrell Sr.. She is also survived by five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
