She is survived by: her husband Robert Barrett; her siblings, Keith Hill (Ruth), Barbara Hebblethwaite (Charles) and Carolyn Vogel (Ken); her children, Lisa Taylor and Jonathan Barrett (Jennifer); and her grandchildren, Colby Taylor, Javon Taylor, Malayla Taylor and Lucas Barrett.
In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, memorials may be made in her name to the First Christian Church of Champaign.
