She was predeceased by: her son Robert Hickman; and her granddaughter KeZhianna Edwards. She is survived by: her husband Gregory Lewis of Champaign, Illinois; her children, Lorenzo Edwards of Rantoul, Teleauba Revels of Jacksonville, Timothy Revels of Austin and Rodney Vassar (Ceyla); and her siblings, Wesley Edwards (Pricilla) of Cahokia, Francine Randol (Donald) of Alton, James Charles Edwards (Jeanne) of Edwardsville, Brenda Jones of Alton, Freida Woods, Sr. (James) of Alton, Preston Frazier (Gwendolyn) of Montgomery, Bettie Buffer of Aurora, Roger Edwards (Brenda) of St. Joseph, Stephanie Edwards of Alton, Timothy Edwards (Marqueto) of Alton, Mathew Edwards (Patricia) of Alton, Phillip Edwards (Kelly) of Champaign, Carlston Edwards of Alton, Cheryl Jemison (Jesse) of Alton and Bro. Jabbar Muhammad of Alton, Illinois. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
