She was predeceased by: her parents, Don Dedrick and Wilda Dedrick; and her pet Rocky. She is survived by: her son Vance Peterson; her siblings, Gwen McCoy (Scott), Tara Dedrick and Don Dedrick, Jr.; her nieces and nephews, Sofia Dedrick, Charlotte Dedrick, Gray and Eli McCoy; and her close friends, Fergie and Chris.
