We are sad to announce that on October 31, 2024, at the age of 73, Peggy A. Cawthon of Chambersburg, Illinois, born in Pittsfield, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Shirley L. Buchanan Smith and Jolly Smith; her daughter Amy Malone Hord; her brothers, Charles'Chuck'Smith and Michael'Mike'Smith; and her nephew Joey Calvey.

She is survived by: her former husband Ron Martin; her husband Wayne Cawthon; her stepson Todd Cawthon (Amber) of Browning, IL; her great grandchildren, Brynlee Bolt, Drayson Bolt, Owen Markert, Carson Cawthon, Ella Cawthon and Ryker Cawthon; her siblings, Mitch Smith, Larry Smith (Bonnie), Gayle Morrow and Lois Calvey; and her in-laws, Jack Cawthon, Larry Cawthon (Judy) and Karen Dehart (Bob). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
