It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert C Kappes (Chadwick, Illinois), born in Freeport, Illinois, who passed away on April 12, 2020, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Kappes and Edna "Mae" Kappes (Logemann); and his great grandchild Adam. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Adolph of Chadwick; his children, Katherine Staples (Patrick) of Rockford, Julie Moralez of Indianapolis, IN, Sandra Kappes of Sterling, Alicia Dudley (Tim) of Milledgeville and Roy Kappes (Shelly) of Chadwick; and his siblings, Dorothy Lambert (Dave) of Clinton, IA and Michael Kappes (Nancy) of Waco, TX. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Due to the Corona virus and unforeseen circumstances, a memorial service will take place at a later date.
