It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steven Bowrey of Cerro Gordo, Illinois, born in Monticello, Illinois, who passed away on March 12, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Bowrey and Goldie Bowrey (Sites); his brother John Bowrey (Mary); and his sister-in-law Donna Bowrey. He is survived by: his wife Leanne Leslie; his children, Gail Bowrey of Cerro Gordo and Gary Bowrey (Tonya) of Long Creek; his grandchildren, Brittany Patterson (Andrew), Bryce Alkire, Theodore Bowrey (Alexandria), Abigail Bowrey and Nathaniel Bowrey; his great grandchildren, Jayden and Kaiden Patterson; and his siblings, Betty Bailey (Larry) and Terry Bowrey.
