With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Patricia S. McClellan of Cerro Gordo, Illinois, born in Philadelphia, Missouri, who passed away on August 3, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Welsey Earl and Daphna Benedict (Elwood); her husband Donald McClellan; her brother Duane Benedict; her niece Jody Benedict; and her great-niece Piper Benedict.
She is survived by: her sister Phyllis Grunert (Larry) of Decatur, IL; her sister-in-law Carol Benedict of Lovington, IL; her nephew Jerod Benedict (Christy) of Atwood, IL; her nieces, Gretchen Kremeyer (Karl) of Laupahoehoe, Hawaii and Tiffany Grunert of Denver, Colorado; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Gigi, Basha, Maggie, Tyler and Casey; her close friends, Maralyn Heckman and Candy Dobson; and also, Rose and Scarlett.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Cerro Gordo United Methodist Church or Piatt County Animal Shelter.
