It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Wamser of Cerro Gordo, Illinois, born in Moline, Illinois, who passed away on April 1, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Thomas Wamser and Aurore "Toni" Wamser (LaRose); his wife Sarah J. Shepherd of Cerro Gordo; his son Jace T. Wamser of Cerro Gordo; his sisters, Frankie Martin (Danney) of Oakley, IL and Teri Carton (Chris) of Rock Island, IL; his nieces and nephews, Brandon Sullivan (Yessenia) of Mansfield, TX, Lauren Odemba (Amedeus) of Detroit, MI, Brittany Carton (Blake Burton) of Denver, CO, Alec Carton and Ali Ekiss (Joey) of Cerro Gordo, IL; his parents-in-law, Charles and Donna Shepherd of Cerro Gordo; and his brother-in-law Anthony Shepherd of Cerro Gordo.

Memorials may be made in Mike's memory to Lampstand Presbyterian Church.
