Lorn Handley Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 26, 2024, at the age of 80, Lorn Handley of Cerro Gordo, Illinois passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lorn Handley to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth W. Handley, Sr. and Laura E. Handley (Meyerholz); his son Galen C. Handley; and his son-in-law Richard A. Beldock. He is survived by: his wife Kathryn E. Merritt; his daughter Teresa Y. Beldock of Oakley; his siblings, Kenneth "Wayne" Handley, Jr. (Mary) and Lana Miller (Tom) of Beecher City; his grandchildren, Robert Weaver of Cerro Gordo, Brittany Wright of Oakley, Timothy Weaver (Sara) of Oakley, Maddison Handley of Merritt Island, FL, Skyler Henderson (Alexa) of Mount Prospect and Brooke N. Beldock of Decatur; and his great grandchildren, Owen, Audrina, Natalie Wright, Peyton Weaver, Blaize and Aniah Hoyt. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Cerro Gordo United Methodist Church (104 E Carter St, Cerro Gordo, IL 61818). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Lorn's honor may be made to the Cerro Gordo Township Cemeteries.
