We are sad to announce that on October 19, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Carl Cable of Cerro Gordo, Illinois, born in Decatur, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Amos Cable and Myrtle Cable (Blickenstaff); his sons, Dennis Cable and Bryce Ashenfelter; and his siblings, Howard Cable, Betty Shockey and Marjorie Thompson.
He is survived by: his wife Wilma Meyerholz; his daughters, Jeanie Ashenfelter Sager (Paul) of Astoria, IL and Rhonda Ashenfelter Higgs (Daniel) of Gallatin, TN; and his daughter-in-law Connie Ashenfelter of Cerro Gordo. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
Memorials in Carl's honor may be made to Cerro Gordo Fire Protection District Volunteers.
