Barbara Wood Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Barbara Wood of Cerro Gordo, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 9, 2025 at the age of 97. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Barbara Wood to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Wayne Wood and Leda Wood (McLaughlin) of Cerro Gordo; her husband Max Wood of Atwood, IL; and her siblings, Jim Wood and Mona Babcock.

She is survived by: her daughters, Aimee Lange, Gayle Heimer (Mike) and Nona Tohill (Tom); her granddaughters, Michelle Walker and Megan Howell (Justin); and her great grandchildren, Lawson, Dylan, Jazlyn and Rylyn. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on Monday, July 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Cerro Gordo United Methodist Church (104 E Carter St, Cerro Gordo, IL 61818).
