He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Irene Carpenter and Holton Whitman; his siblings, Doris Walter of Cleveland, Joyce Cook of Louisville, Faith Whitman of Baltimore, Benita Whitman of High Point, NC and Hope Whitman-Godish of Baltimore; his grandchildren, Alisa (Whitman), LeBoin Fears of Champaign, IL, Brandon Whitman of Centralia and Calvin Whitman of Chicago; and his great grandchildren, Alphonso Fears, Camille Whitman and Alayla Fears. He was also cherished by extended family members, friends.
