Virginia Maulding-Whitlock Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Maulding-Whitlock of Centralia, Illinois, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on October 23, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Messex and Edna Messex (Bullington); her uncle Charles Manion; her former husband Paul T. Maulding; her husband Dr. Richard F. Whitlock; and her son Paul.
She is survived by: her daughter Martha (James); her granddaughters, Amy (Michael) and Susan (David); her niece Nancy; and her nephew Sam. She is also survived by 4 great-granddaughters and 4 great-grandsons.
A memory and hope service will be held at the First Christian Church Disciples of Christ on Monday, November 2, at 1:30 p. m. with Rev. Paula Comper officiating where those in attendance will be asked to wear a mask and practice social distance protocol. The graveside service will be private, and there will be no visitation.
