He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Hayes and Hariett Hayes (Josephson); and his brother Gilbert Hayes. He is survived by: his wife Mary Hayes (Lowe); his son Brian Hayes (Kathy) of Dothan, AL; his grandsons, Austin and Caleb Hayes; his sister Kay Schubert (Gerald) of Centralia; and his nieces and nephews, Tammy Smith (George) of Centralia, Tyann Alli of Centralia, Doug Hayes of Rockford, Kim Ehrhart of Indiana, Belinda Johnson (Drew) of Missouri, Brad Barton of Nevada, Sarah Rogers (Joe) of Illinois, Laura O'Sullivan (Liam) of Indiana and Phillip Foltz of Colorado.
The family asks those attending to please be mindful of social distancing, wear a mask and any health precaution necessary to insure a healthy environment.
