He is survived by: his mother Agnes Horton (Evans) of Central City; his children, Justin Horton of Jacksonville and Michelle Jones (Doug) of Kearney, Missouri; his grandchildren, Baylea Jones of Kearney, Missouri, Kindyl Jones of Kearney, Missouri and Tucker Jones of Kearney, Missouri; and his siblings, Tim Horton (Ruthie) of Sandoval, Tom Horton of Centralia, Tony Horton (Beth) of Odin, Troy Horton (Brandon Bird) of Mt. Vernon, Teresa Horton of Odin, Tonya Estrada (Alvaro) of St. Peters and Tiffany Hixenbaugh of Central City. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
