He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Patton and Ellen Brown (Thouvenin); and his brother Michael Patton. He is survived by: his son Derek Patton of Centralia; his granddaughter Shayde Patton of Du Quoin; and his niece Misty Comstock of Missouri.
