It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sonya Yoos of Centralia, Illinois, who passed away on August 8, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Sonya Yoos to show support.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward "Ed" and Lillian "Lil" Kuhner (Keiger); and her husband Arthur Eugene "Gene" Yoos. She is survived by: her children, Debby Slininger (Jody) of Centralia and Christopher "Chris" Yoos of Wichita, Kansas; her grandchildren, Clairesse Neikes (Rick), Nathan Slininger, Avery Yoos (Taryn) and Amerizhon Yoos (Jimmie Wilson) of Kansas; her great grandchildren, Jaden Dickinson, Alannah Dickinson, Tessa Neikes, Taylor Neikes and Jukka Wilson; and her siblings-in-law, Jerry Cunningham (Sue) of Florida and Carolyn Yoos of Champaign, Illinois. She is also survived by niece and nephew, and numerous cousins.
Due to Covid-19 health concerns, private services will be held at a later date.
Sonya would enjoy it if donations were made to the Starving Comedians Guild (not that we know that one exists) but actually Memorials. Donations may be made to the Humane Society and will be accepted for the family at the funeral home in Centralia.
