She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Edward Eca and Dorothy Eca (Woods); her husband Everett Philyaw; her son Timothy Philyaw; and her siblings, Joyce, Betty and Kenneth.
She is survived by: her son Chuck Philyaw (James) of Eugene, Oregon; her brother Edward Eca (Marilyn) of Grayslake, Illinois; and her cousin Mary Martin of Centralia. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
