He was predeceased by: his parents, William Houston Minton and Ruthie Minton (Lueker); his spouse Josepine Kilani Minton (Crockett); his son William Minton; and his sister Mary Anna Nollman.
He is survived by: his children, Rufus Sonognini, Patricia Reyes, Puanani Vehara and Mary Yasdanpour; his grandson Cody Minton; and his siblings, Monti Minton and Ruth Alice Younkers. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
