She was predeceased by: her parents, Ratliff Monroe and Lillie Mae Dyess (Seay); her husband Sebern Roy "Jack" Dunbar; her brothers, Joseph Dyess (Juanita), Monroe Dyess (Francis) and Ervin Dyess (Jane); and her daughter-in-law Debra Dunbar.
She is survived by: her sons, Michael Dunbar of Odin and Barry Dunbar (Bobbie) of Joplin, Missouri; and her grandchildren, Michael, Matt, Chris and Amber. She is also survived by great-grandchildren; and several special nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made in Ruby's honor to Zion Hill Church Cemetery.
