He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde E. Ward and Betty Ward (Bell); and his father-in-law Thomas "Tom" Cagle. He is survived by: his wife Dana Ward of Centralia; his children, Andee Siegler (Tom) of Centralia, Ryan Ward of Centralia and Lily; his granddaughters, Julie Siegler of Centralia and Allison Siegler of Centralia; his brother Ron Ward (Tina) of Centralia; his niece Sara Simpson (Travis) of Centralia; his great-nephews, Lucas Simpson of Centralia and Kaleb Simpson of Centralia; his siblings-in-law, Tom Cagle, Jr. (Mary) of Centralia, Gina Cagle of Harviell, MO and Kelly Capps (Darryl) of Centralia; his nieces and nephews, Zac Cagle (LeAnna) of Centralia, Tucker Cagle of Centralia, Abbi Wehking (Caleb) of Newburgh, IN and Maddi Capps of Centralia; his great-nephew Zayden Cagle of Centralia; and his mother-in-law Mary Cagle of Centralia. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
