It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Carl Smith of Centralia, Illinois, born in Salem, Illinois, who passed away on February 15, 2023, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George A. Smith and Betty Lee Smith (Self); and his brother Larry W. Smith. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Sanecki; his children, Travis Smith (Stacie) and Shelby King (Rusty) of Centralia; and his grandchildren, Hendrix Smith, Elric King, Jaxsun Smith and Rin King. He is also survived by other grandchild in May; and several nieces and nephews.
In memory of Roy "Pete", memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association and will be accepted at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home at 235 North Sycamore Street in Centralia, Illinois 62801 (618) 532-3523, who is honored to be of service to the Smith family.
