With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Rosemary Mathis of Centralia, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Rosemary left this world on July 22, 2024 at the age of 72, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd P. Starr and Viola Starr Sr. (Dark); her daughter Megan Brown; her grandsons, Phoenix Ho and Michael Pinkston; and her brother Kenny Starr.
She is survived by: her daughters, Stepfanie Smoot (RC), Serena Claypool (Daniel) and Sabrina Brown; and her siblings, Anna Miller, Brenda Mitchell, Christina Hart, Carmen Thouvenin (Walter), Lloyd Starr Jr., Charlie Starr and John Starr. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Centralia Animal Shelter and will be accepted at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home at 235 North Sycamore Centralia, Illinois 62801, (618) 532-3523, who is honored to be of service to the Mathis Family.
