It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald Higgins of Centralia, Illinois, born in Beckemeyer, Illinois, who passed away on April 29, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Higgins and Marie Higgins (Shulte); his daughter Karen Marie Higgins; and his siblings, Dennis Higgins, David Shulte, Doris Higgins, Barb Knight and MaryAnn Francios.
He is survived by: his wife Diana Higgins of Centralia; his children, David Higgins (Tammy) of Centralia, Donna Higgins of Tulsa, Jim Douglas (Karen) of Louisville and Julie Powell (Van) of Highland; and his brother Dale Higgins (Judy) of Centralia. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren.
