It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald Glen Evans of Centralia, Illinois, born in Salem, Illinois, who passed away on January 3, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Francis Albert (Evans); his stepfather Don Albert; and his grandparents, Elmer and Mary Evans. He is survived by: his wife Judy Evans (Lyons); his children, Dianna Yates of Texas, Keith Evans (Julie) of Nebraska and Kathy Minor (Jeff) of Florida; his stepchildren, Donnie Boothman (Beth) of Sandoval, Ron Boothman (Cindy) of Centralia, Patricia Boxx (Rick) of Junction City and Shelia Timmons (Jeff) of Cheyenne, Wyoming; and his grandchildren, Kendra, Connor of Texas, Bethany and Jordan of Florida. He is also survived by eight step-grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made in Ron's honor to the Donor's Choice and will be accepted for the family at the Irvin Macz Funeral Home in Centralia.
