With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard Perkins of Centralia, Illinois, born in Carthage, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 16, 2024 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles Lester Perkins and Vada Elizabeth Perkins (Jones); and his siblings, Charles Perkins (Kay Perkins) and Joyce Hiland (Jack). He is survived by : his wife Rhonda Perkins of Centralia; his daughter Stephanie Perkins of Rochester, Illinois; his stepsons, Nicholas Hoffman and Dustin Hoffman; and his grandchildren, Aiden Powers, Cole Powers, Kaylin Hoffman, Lincoln Hoffman and Isaiah Hoffman. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 20th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home (235 N Sycamore St, Centralia, IL 62801).
