It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rhonda Tibbs (Centralia, Illinois), who passed away on March 24, 2025, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Rhonda Tibbs to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her father John Sligar; her husband Robert Tibbs; her mother Rosalie Sligar Meyer (Rollinson); her stepfather Cleve Martin; her son William Bernard "Billy" Ripley; and her half-sister Kathy Sligar.
She is survived by: her stepchildren, Larry, Angie and Lisa; her siblings, Linda Hails (Harold) of Centralia, Diana Frese (Glenn) of Centralia, Duane Martin (Mary) of Centralia, Troy Martin (Julie) of Centralia and Lisa Kracht (Gene) of Centralia; her half-brother Larry Sligar of Nashville, TN.; and her pet Theo. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home (235 N Sycamore St, Centralia, IL 62801).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Rhonda's name to the Centralia BCMW Project Bread, and will be accepted by the Sutherland Garnier funeral home at 235 North Sycamore St. in Centralia, IL 62801 (618) 532-3523, who is honored to be of service to Rhonda's family.
