We bid farewell to Patty J. Carlson of Centralia, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 4, 2024 at the age of 90. Patty touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles "Elmo" Brantley and Virginia Brantley (Owens); her close friend Dickie Carlson; her husband Dickie Carlson; her daughter Lori Ann Carlson; her brother Allen Duane Brantley; and her sister-in-law Carolyn Young.
She is survived by: her nieces, Cheryl Tabor (Gary), Kimberly Robinett (Rusty) and Trina Schneider (Alan); her sister-in-law Frances Brantley; and her caregiver Tina Basola of Centralia.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Macz Funeral Home - Centralia (234 S Elm St, Centralia, IL 62801). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made in Patty's honor to the Centralia Humane Society, Ronald McDonald House, or the Charity of the Donor's Choice and will be accepted for the family at the Irvin Macz Funeral Home in Centralia, who are privileged to be assisting the family of Patty Carlson with arrangements.
