She was predeceased by: her mother Emmaline "Emma" Brewer (Sinclair); her significant other Orville Ferguson; her father Clarence L. Brewer; her sisters, Beaulah Dothager and Martha Chapman (Charles); and her nieces and nephews, Christopher Shannon Mathis, Shawn Chapman, Tina Chapman Emmett and Michael Dothager.
She is survived by: her grandsons, Ian and Micheal; her sister Carol Mathis (DeLane) of Salem; her nieces and nephews, Mindy Seger (David) of Centralia, Eric Mathis of Centralia, Dana Chapman, Dale Arning of Centralia, Patrick Chapman of Centralia and Patty Dothager of Centralia; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Travis, Ashleigh, Brooke, Dylan, Delta, Tommie, Tracy, Meghan, Caleb, Kaitlyn, Ashley, Heidi and Hillary.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home (235 N Sycamore St, Centralia, IL 62801). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location.
In memory of Jeanie Thompson, memorial donations may be made to Murray Parents Association and will be accepted by the Sutherland Garnier funeral home at 235 North Sycamore St. in Centralia, IL 62801 (618) 532-3523, who is honored to be of service to Jeanie's family.
