He was predeceased by: his parents, Nollie F. Sr. Garner and Rose Ella Garner (McDaniel); his wife Bernice Garner; his son David Garner; and his siblings, Ina Mae Pickett, Delores Hardin, Betty Buller and Jerry Garner.
He is survived by: his children, Alan Garner of Centralia and Debra Miller (Jack) of Taylorville; his grandchildren, Tina Marie Miller of Park Forrest and David Alan Garner of Centralia; and his sisters, Ida Cheney and Georgia.
