It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Nedra A. Johnson (Centralia, Illinois), who passed away on March 24, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbur Offutt and Hilda Offutt (Bibb); her daughters, Terri Johnson and Tanesha Johnson; and her siblings, Maxine Taylor, Wilbur Offutt, Corliss Young, Hilda Powe, James Offutt, Niles Offutt, Robert Offutt, Michael Offutt, Hedy Hogan, Terry Offutt and Norman Offutt.
She is survived by: her daughters, Christina Wright (Isaac) of Centralia and Eartricca Johnson of Chicago, Illinois.; her grandchildren, Micah Johnson of Centralia, Destiny Favors (Bryson) of Austin, Myles Moss, Haylee of Pilot Point, Erica Johnson of Belleville, Errian Johnson of Centralia, Winston Bailey, Jr. of Centralia and Chatara Curry of Centralia; and her siblings, Phillip Offutt (Bertha) of Centralia and Nellona Diane Williams of Springfield, Illinois.. She is also survived by her family, friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home (235 N Sycamore St, Centralia, IL 62801). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in honor of Nedra to her daughter (Christina Wright) and will be accepted at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home at 235 North Sycamore Street Centralia, Illinois 62801, (618) 532-3523, who is honored to be of service to Nedra's Family.
