Nancy May Gibson Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy May Gibson of Centralia, Illinois, who passed away on May 12, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Jackson and Florence May Melton (Shaw); her brother Gary Melton; and her siblings-in-law, Wanda Melton and Val Gene Evischi.
She is survived by: her husband Jerry Gibson of Centralia, Illinois; her children, Dawn DeKalb (Kevin) of Centralia, Illinois and Jeremy Gibson of Joplin, Missouri; her siblings, Martha Evischi of Wamac, Illinois and Dennis Melton of Acworth, Georgia; and her grandsons, Dustin DeKalb (Stacey Woodrome) of Centralia, Illinois and Dakota DeKalb (Jenna LeBlanc) of Mt. Vernon. She is also survived by several loving nephews, nieces, cousins, and other chosen family members.
In lieu of flowers, those so inclined may make donations to the family to assist in the covering of funeral expenses or may choose to donate in Nancy's honor to the American Heart Association or American Diabetes Association and they may be accepted by the Moran Queen-Boggs Funeral Home at 134 South Elm Street in Centralia, Illinois, 62801.
