She was predeceased by: her parents, Gustav Heinrich and Leona Clara Klingenberg (Dinkelman); her brother Charles "Squeak" Klingenberg; and her niece Angel Marie Klingenberg. She is survived by: her nephews, James G. "Jim" Klingenberg (Connie Rowcliff) of Centralia and John Klingenberg (Priscilla) of Bowling Green, Kentucky; her niece Lee Ann Myers (Bill Ray) of Centralia, Illinois; her great-nephew William Myers; and her great-nieces, Holly Flautt (Josh), Raeann Myers, Molly Jones, Lauren Kimmel, Abbey McGill (Michael), Misty Klingenberg and Shrie Brooks.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Ms. Benders's honor to the Alzheimer's Association and will be received by the Moran Queen-Boggs Funeral Home at 134 South Elm Street in Centralia, Illinois.
