It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Ann Norton in Centralia, Illinois, who passed away on December 23, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Hodges and Susie Hodges (Ware); her former husband Bill Norton; her sisters, Jessie Elliott (Floyd) and Nancy Greene (Larry); and her daughter Julie Patel.

She is survived by: her grandchildren, Maya Patterson (Rob) of Chesterfield, MO, Devendra Patel (Vera) of Frankfurt, Germany and Sanjeev Patel (Megan) of Appleton, WI; her great grandchildren, Serkan, Nila, Kareena, Elia, Divya and Naveen; her son-in-law Dr. Ashok Patel of Chesterfield, MO; and her children, Advisor, Grand Deputy and Girls. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and friends.

A visitation time will be held from 9:00 A. M. until 11:00 A. M. Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at the Irvin Macz Funeral Home in Centralia where those in attendance will be asked to wear a mask and the number of people in the funeral home will be limited.
