She was predeceased by: her parents, William Birdo and Alice Birdo (Burris); her husband James Scott; her sons, James, Jr. and Carlos, Sr.; her stepdaughter Tosha Rodgers; her siblings, Elizabeth Birdo, Johnny Birdo and Alphonso Birdo; and her siblings-in-law, Frances Birdo and Freddie Scott.
She is survived by: her son Micheal Scott (Selena) of Centralia, IL; her siblings, Lena B. Atkins of St. Louis, MO, Bertha Norris (Travis) of Bloomington, IL, Rosetta Brown of Byron, GA, Evelyn Stalls (Calvin) of Centralia, IL, Maryalice Birdo (Michael) of Centralia, IL, William Birdo of Los Angeles, CA and Tanaka Birdo; her siblings-in-law, Johnetta White and Roger Scott; her grandchildren, Jamica, Nakisha, Carlos Jr., Mylisha, Alana, Malik, Matese, Jamesha and Tyrese; her stepson Keith Peoples; her daughter-in-law Alanna Scott; her daughter Simcox; her nieces, Emily Jones and Phoebe Moss; her close friends, Florence Lewis, Rita McKinney, Martha Bradford and Irene Young; and her cousins, Jill Williams, Betty Offutt, JoJo Spencer and Sherry McCormick. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and her relatives.
