With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mabel Patten of Centralia, Illinois, born in Robinson, Illinois, who passed away on August 20, 2020 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mabel Patten to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Denver and Cleo Pritchard (Dollahan); her husband Elmer Patten; her grandchildren, Jason Marcum and Stephanie Dawn Patten Harvey; her great grandchild Maverick Pratt; her son-in-law John Harvey, Jr.; and her siblings, Oscar Pritchard, John Pritchard, Eugene Pritchard, Kenneth Pritchard and Betty Porter.
She is survived by: her children, Elmer Patten, Jr. (Pat) of Centralia, Illinois, Carolyn Sue Marcum (Stan) of Centralia, Rose Marie Harvey of Salem and Marilyn Jean Sloat (Tony) of Centralia, Illinois; her grandchildren, Austin Harvey (Amanda), Misty Schaeffer (Todd), Layla Moureau (Collin), Chris Pratt, Brianna, Tony Sloat, Jr. (Candace), Shane Harvey, Jacquelin Hensley (Jeremy), Danielle Patten (Jackie Striker), Mandy Fehland (Matt), Travis Patten (Alex) and Sara Marcum; and her siblings, Larry Pritchard of Centralia, Illinois, Margaret Patten (Walter) of Centralia and Hazel Way. She is also survived by 26 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandsons.
The family ask those who are attending to please be mindful of social distancing, wear a mask, and take any health precautions necessary to ensure a healthy environment.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mrs. Patten's honor to the Cornerstone United Methodist Church in Centralia, Illinois and will be received by the Moran Queen-Boggs Funeral Home at 134 South Elm Street in Centralia, Illinois.
