She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Corliss Young and James Newborn; her husband Albert Marshall; her children, Cynthia Garrett (Ricky), Marla Webster (Hamp), Crystal "O'Neal" Leslie, Andre Marshall (Amanda) of Centralia and Carla Upchurch (Albert) of Senatobia, Mississippi; her grandchildren, Stalata O'Neal, Cashmere O'Neal, Imari O'Neal, Monterra Garrett, D'Andre Downey, Malaya Downey, Jamel O'Neal, Camia O'Neal, Mariah Abdullah, Karrington Marshall and Kree Marshall; and her cousin Wilma Bass of Joliet, IL.. She was also cherished by 12 great-grandchildren.
Due to the pandemic, a private funeral service for Lillian "Lennie" Marshall will be held Wednesday, May 6, 2020 at 1:00 p. m. with the service being live broadcasted for family and friends which can be accessed by going to http://www.sutherlandfuneralhome.com.
