It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lena Miller of Centralia, Illinois, who passed away on March 5, 2021, at the age of 103, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Catterina Mordini and Peter Mordini (Joe Miller); her husband Joseph Miller; her daughter Mary Kathryn Kurow (Tom); her grandson Mark Shelton; and her siblings, Constantino, Nello Mordini, Mary Lenzini and Jenny Roy.
She is survived by: her children, Bryan P. "Pete" Miller (Sara) of Mequon, Wisconsin and Karen Shelton (Ron) of Centralia; and her friend Louisa Marcum of Centralia. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, 16, great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandsons.
Due to Covid constraints, there will be no public visitation and a private family graveside service will be held at a later date at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Centralia.
If friends desire, memorials in her honor may be made to the charity of the donor's choice and will be accepted at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home and Cremation Services at 235 North Sycamore Street Centralia, Illinois 62801, (618) 532-3523, who is honored to be of service to the Miller Family.
