It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawrence Steven Tate (Centralia, Illinois), who passed away on January 10, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Dora Tate (DeSelms); his wife Mary Tate (Bailey); and his brother Lester Tate. He is survived by: his children, Shelby Tate of Centralia and Dennis Tate of Centralia; his siblings, Otis Tate, Linda Standley of Sandoval and Betty Tate of Sandoval; and his sister-in-law Barb Tate of Texas. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
