She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Freeman and Iola Freeman (Rhodes); her spouse Lennon "Bee Tree" Ray Mefford; her siblings, Allen Freeman and Ila Murphy; and her siblings-in-law, Bonita Ayers, Ima Chwascinski, Paul Murphy, Landon Powers, Sterling Hamilton and Eddie Corderio.
She is survived by: her sister Marian Corderio of Fortuna, California; and her sisters-in-law, Barbara Powers of Belleville and Pauline Hamilton of Irvington, Illinois. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
