We bid farewell to Larry Nichols (Centralia, Illinois), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 26, 2025 at the age of 78. Larry touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Edward Nichols (Adkisson) and Elna Pauline Amadei Nichols; and his sister Terri Dawn. He is survived by: his wife Linda Nichols; and his children, Sherry Owens (Mike), Penny Brooks (Mark), Jesse Nichols (Amy), Laura Pokojski (Johnny), John Brown, Tambour Eller (Evie Haberer), Rachele Carr (Andy) and Terri DeGraffenreid-Brattin. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home (235 N Sycamore St, Centralia, IL 62801). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
