Larry William George Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 2, 2022, at the age of 74, Larry William George of Centralia, Illinois, born in Corinth, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Helen Mae George (Petters); his wife Linda Gail Cox; his daughter Linda Kay Simmons; his granddaughter Alicia Marie Tunnell; and his siblings, Tommy George and Teresa George.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Lee Tunnell (Tamela) of Decatur, Illinois and Darlene Flanigan (Shawn Richards) of Centralia; his grandchildren, Donald Gordon, Jr., Deana Tunnell, Joy Livesay, Evejo Gordon, Eric Tunnell, Aaron Gordon and Hannan Smith (Onis); his sister Tujuannah Patrick (Charles); and his half-brother Shane George of California. He is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Larry's honor to Centralia Veteran of Foreign Wars Post 2055 in Centralia, Illinois, and may be received by the Moran Queen-Boggs Funeral Home at 134 South Elm Street in Centralia, Illinois 62801.
