She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mother Virginia Lee Buchele (Sanders); her husband Thomas "Tom" Burleyson; her sons, Travis Burleyson (Nikki) of Belleville and Brandon Burelyson (Staci) of Centralia, Illinois; her grandsons, Keagan Burleyson, Bryar Burleyson and Andrew Burleyson; her siblings, Nina Buchele of Centralia, Illinois, Dennis Buchele (Jane) of Carlyle and Ray Buchele (Lucy) of Carlyle, Illinois; her nieces and nephews, Dana Rakers (Jon), Traci Garner (Jason), Kim Cruise (John), Jeff Buchele (Renee) and Michael "Mike" Buchele (Janice); her pet Ella Rose; her father Harold Albert Buchele; and her pet Mabel.
The family asks those who are attending to please be mindful of social distancing, wear a mask, and take any health precautions necessary to ensure a healthy environment.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Karen's honor to Pritchett Cemetery near Boulder, Illinois and may be received by the Moran Queen-Boggs Funeral Home at 134 South Elm Street in Centralia, Illinois.
