June A. Douglas Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of June A. Douglas of Centralia, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 11, 2025 at the age of 80. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of June A. Douglas to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her mothers, Elisa Hart and Suzanne Hart (Howard); her daughter Christina Hegwood; her siblings, Sandra Macke, Nancy Hart, Iona Wilkerson, Lester Hart and Bill Hart; and her sons-in-law, Kenneth Mighell and Phil Potter.
She is survived by: her husband John Douglas of Centralia; her children, Debra Mighell of Salem, Nancy Potter of Odin, Shawn Hutton of Centralia and Jonathan Robbins of Centralia; her son-in-law Robbie Hegwood of Centralia; and her grandchildren, Myra Arnold (Greg) of Centralia, Megan Williams of Centralia, Jacob Potter (Brittany), Dani Casares (Steven) of Fort Hood, Joseph Hutton of Centralia, Katie Hegwood of Carlyle and Nathaniel Hegwood of Centralia. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home (235 N Sycamore St, Centralia, IL 62801). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the same location.
