It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Judy Marlene Batson of Centralia, Illinois, born in Davenport, Iowa, who passed away on October 12, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Chadd and Jessie Catlin (Leight); her brothers, Jimmy Chadd and Jerry Fusselman; and her close friend James Rippy.

She is survived by: her sons, Kevin Batson of Walnut Hill, Robert Starner (Alicia) and James "Jimmy" Starner (Shelia); her grandchildren, Abby Jaurez of Salem, Gavin Batson of Walnut Hill, Maelynn Batson of Centralia, Emily Hollars of Sedelia, Breanne Starner (Ben Geary) of Sedelia, Joshua Hollars of Sedelia, Devin Starner of Carlyle, Collin Starner, Julian of Carlyle and Tori Starner of Wood River, Illinois; and her siblings, Jody Chadd of South Carolina and Sherri Fusselman of Georgia. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
