She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Thomas Simpson and Lena Simpson (Hewitt); and her siblings, Walter "Scoop" Simpson (Marie), Tommie Jean Craine (Jack), Mary Joe Jaco (Ray), Jenna Lee Pink (Harry) and Bobbie Bernice Schafer (Donald). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
