Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Judith Carpenter of Centralia, Illinois, who passed away at the age of 72, on August 19, 2021. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert E. Burge and Dorothy Mae Burge (Ackermann); her husband John Michael Carpenter; her great-aunt Ann "Nana" Anderson; and her father-in-law Albert "A. R.".
She is survived by: her aunt Debbie Healy of Cedar Crest; her cousins, Debbie Dunn of Granite City, Bonnie Fisher (Sonny) of Lee Center and Larry Ackermann of Virginia Beach, Virginia; her siblings-in-law, George Dale Carpenter (Carolyn) of Centralia, Patrick Carpenter of Centralia and Robin Brink (Kerry) of Centralia, Illinois; and her mother-in-law Ethel Carpenter. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
The family asks those who are attending to please be mindful of social distancing, wear a mask, and take any health precautions necessary to ensure a healthy environment.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mrs. Carpenter's memory to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Humane Society of the United States and may be received by the Moran Queen-Boggs Funeral Home at 134 South Elm Street in Centralia, Illinois.
