It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Weed of Centralia, Illinois, born in Mayfield, Kentucky, who passed away on October 5, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernie Gregory and Gay Gregory (Crider); her siblings, Ruble Gregory, Vernie Jr. Gregory, Jessie Chapman, Kenneth Gregory and Doyce Latham; and her son-in-law David Tippit.
She is survived by: her daughter Gayla Tippit of Centralia; her grandchildren, Jeff Scarborough of Centralia, Chad Tippit of Centralia, Shanna Bateman (Jim) of Centralia, Angela Betters (Alan) of Centralia, Amy Benjamin (Michael) of Centralia and Emily Gansauer (Dustin) of Centralia; her great grandchildren, Paige Tippit, Bradyn Bateman, Jacob Bateman, Haylee Benjamin, Gavin Benjamin, Logan Benjamin, Preslee Betters, Parker Betters, Grace Neff, Finley Gansauer, Mattie Scarborough, Maverick Gansauer, Brittany Hodge, Kendra Eaker and Leighton Bundy; and her siblings, Faye Adair (Gene) of Columbus, Indiana and Larry Gregory of Farmington, Kentucky. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
